The present invention discloses one kind of bacillus capable of producing high activity algin lyase and its application. The preservation number of the bacillus is CGMCC No.16120. The preparation process of algin oligosaccharide with the bacillus includes the following steps : activating, domesticating and culturing strain; 2. Obtaining seed strain; 3. Preparing seed liquid; 4. Obtaining crude enzyme liquid of algin lyase; 5. Obtaining primary hydrolysis solution : adding algin lyase crude enzyme solution into algin slurry according to volume ratio of 1 : 100, enzymolyzing in water bath at 40 deg.c for at least 24 hr, heating to 120 deg.c, inactivating for 1 hr; 6, obtaining brown algae oligosaccharide : the initial hydrolysis solution is sequentially subjected to membrane filtration, concentration, freeze-drying. The bacillus screened by the invention can produce high-activity algin lyase, has high conversion rate on substrate seaweed pulp, and not only improves the production efficiency, but also reduces the production cost when preparing the algal oligosaccharide.
