The present invention relates to a method for detecting various common ions, in the concrete, it is a thin-layer polymer sensitive film solid contact type ion-selective electrode based on pulse constant current control and its detection method. A solid contact layer of a carbon-based nano-material/metal nano-particle composite is deposited on the surface of a conductive substrate of the pulse constant current control-based thin-layer polymer sensitive film solid contact type ion selective electrode, and the surface of the solid contact layer is coated with a thin-layer polymer sensitive film with the thickness ranging from micron to nanometer; and the thin-layer polymer sensitive film solid contact type ion selective electrode is controlled by a pulse constant current, and is coated with a carbon-based nano-material/metal nano-particle composite. Said invented thin polymer sensitive film not only can effectively reduce pre-activation time of electrode, but also can further raise detection performance of electrode. In addition, the thin-layer polymer film solid contact ion selective electrode based on pulse constant current control also shows excellent reversibility and has wide application prospect in the aspect of ion detection.
