The invention belongs to the technical field of analysis testing, in particular relates to a detecting method of a free radical reaction. The detecting method is characterized in that detection on the free radical reaction and substances capable of triggering the free radical reaction can be carried out by utilizing a way of polymerizing cation or anion monomers through the free radical reaction and taking polymer film electrodes which are sensitive to polycations or polyanions as indicating electrodes. The detecting method of the free radical reaction, disclosed by the invention, is high in sensitivity and can be used for detection of variety of chemical and biological target objects.
