AbstractThe unexpected potential responses to electrically neutral thiophenols (ArSHs) of anion-exchanger doped polymeric membranes are described. Based on the dimerization reactions of ArSHs via horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-catalyzed oxidations, a sensitive and facile potentiometric biosensing platform for HRP has been developed.
