The invention belongs to the technical field of environmental engineering water treatment and in particular relates to a marine bacterium Shewanella sp.CNZ-1 and application thereof. The marine bacterium is Shewanella sp.CNZ-1 and is preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection (CCTCC) in Wuhan University, the preservation date is October 20, 2017 and the preservation number is CCTCC M2017545. The strain is a marine indigenous microorganism screened from ocean bottom mud, can be adaptive to a complicated marine environment and can be used for reducing noble metal gold. By adopting themicroorganism provided by the invention, obtained nano-gold can be used for accelerating chemical reduction conversion of a nitrophenol compound. Meanwhile, compared with a terrestrial microorganism, the microorganism provided by the invention has the advantages that the marine microorganism can be adaptive to high-salt, low-temperature and oligotrophic bad conditions, has relatively strong stress resistance and has better practical value.
