The invention belongs to the technical field of maintenance of flat fish, and particularly relates to a flat fish maintenance method based on copper algae cultivation. Said method includes the following steps : 1) defining curing time and selecting target sea area; 2) determining target seaweed : the target seaweed is copper algae; 3) constructing algal reef unit or culture raft and clamping seedling; 4) arranging algal reef unit or culture raft frame; 5) evaluating the curing effect of the curing sea area; 6) according to the maintenance effect evaluation of the corresponding later management. According to the method, appropriate target seaweed is selected, so that common fishery resources, especially larval fish stage, are maintained, and a good effect is achieved.
