The invention relates to a method for preparing a high-purity chlorogenic acid from a honeysuckle extract, and particularly relates to membrane separation and membrane concentration processes, a macroporous resin adsorption elution process and a polyamide refining process. The method comprises the following steps : with the honeysuckle extract as a raw material, dissolving the honeysuckle extract with deionized water; filtering through a macroporous resin column after membrane separation and membrane concentration; feeding an impurity washing liquid to wash impurities; eluting with an eluent until no chlorogenic acid flows out in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) detection; collecting the eluent, concentrating the eluent at reduced pressure, and carrying out adsorption separation, elution and refining on a polyamide column; and carrying out spray drying, so as to obtain high-purity chlorogenic acid of which the purity of chlorogenic acid is over 98%. The chlorogenic acid prepared by the method is extremely high in purity, low in loss, simple to operate and suitable for large-scale production.
