The invention relates to the field of antibacterial agents and in particular discloses a diketopiperazine compound derived from alga endophytic fungi, as well as a preparation method and application thereof in preventing bacteria. The compound is of a specific structure formula of formula (I) as shown in the specification. The preparation method comprises the following steps : inoculating Trichoderma asperellum cf44-2 into a fungus culture medium, performing fermentation culture, and separating and purifying a fermentation product, thereby obtaining the diketopiperazine compound of formula (I)as shown in the specification. Antibacterial activity experiments of the diketopiperazine compound disclosed by the invention show that the diameter of an antibacterial ring of the compound of a dosage of 20 microgramme/tablet can be up to 6.5 millimeters.
