海岸带是陆地与海洋的连接部分，它是人类认识地球的基础，也是陆地系统与海洋系统的过渡地带，同时更是实现海洋资源可持续开发的转化阵地。海岸带生态系统主要包括陆地生态系统和海洋生态系统两部分。近年来由于全球变暖、海平面上升、污染加剧等因素，海岸带生态系统的变化越来越受到人们的重视。如何解决海岸带地区的人口、资源、环境与社会经济可持续发展所面临的矛盾，已经成为沿海各国与地区越来越关注的重要问题。

本文系统分析了生态系统服务功能及价值评估，梳理研究了生态系统服务的研究成果与进展，探讨了海岸带生态系统服务功能的内涵。在回顾已有的海岸带生态系统服务概念和服务分类体系的基础上，利用组件式GIS开发软件平台ArcEngine与C#开发语言，对渤海海岸带生态系统服务进行了研究。针对目前渤海生态系统进行了分类，归纳其计算方法和评价体系，应用ArcGIS软件处理遥感图形信息，建立开发生态服务评估系统。主要的成果包括：（1）、结合最新的理论整理了近年来的生态系统服务的各种理论与评价方法；（2）、讨论得出适应渤海经济发展水平下的生态系统服务定量模型和货币化价值；（3）、根据环渤海的遥感地图和海岸带分等定级的资料，建立渤海海岸带生态和经济底图；（4）、根据现实的需求性分析和系统的设计原则，设计了渤海海岸带生态系统的整体框架和功能模块，并基于ArcEngine组件开发，基本实现了渤海海岸带生态信息系统的可视化分析。

Coastal zone is the transitional area from sea to land. It is basic for fully understanding the interaction between the land and the sea. Coastal ecosystem mainly consists of terrestrial ecosystem and marine ecosystem. Due to the issues of the global warming, sea level rise, and environmental pollution and so on, more and more attention has been paid to the coastal ecosystem. The critical focus concerned internationally is how to balance economy and environmental protection.

Scientists have paid more attention to the valuation of coastal ecosystem. With more and more thorough understandings that the function of ecosystem cannot be substituted, the study of ecosystem service value becomes gradually much more important. Although marine ecosystem service was proposed many years ago, studies for marine ecosystem service are unsystematic. Based on detailed analysis for ecosystem services and its valuation, the methods for valuing marine ecosystem are discussed. This paper presents the general concepts and classifications of the marine ecosystem services. In this paper, methods of ComGIS Development Platform by using ArcEngine and C# language were carried out to study coastal ecosystem services. Based on the studies on classifications of ecosystems, the distribution of varied coastal ecosystems in the Chinese Bohai Sea was delineated. The paper summarized methods via ArcGIS to integrate information and develop visual model for presenting values of ecosystems.

The main achievements of the project include: (1) reviewing recent references for valuing marine ecosystem service; (2) describing coastal ecosystems and economic resources spatially in the Chinese Bohai Sea; (3) comprehensive discussions of quantitative methods for valuing coastal ecosystems;(4) presentation of visual system with geographic user interface for valuing coastal ecosystems by using ArcEngine.
